Unlike conventional exhibitions and trade shows where exhibitors book (and usually pay for) a stand, the Dext team were flattered and proud to be asked to attend this prestigious invitation-only event.
Siemens Transform allows Siemens to showcase the new, innovative, and most advanced ways people utilise their technology.
Dext is part of the official Siemens ‘Ecosystem’ because DexThermic uses Siemens technology to measure performance and provide live data from site. Live data means we can see exactly how much heat is being recovered, how much energy saved, and by what percentage costs are reduced.
This consistent use of reporting tech also allows us to spot any dips in performance before they become a fault, minimising downtime and preventing costly repairs.
Along with the DexThermic, Siemens technology is also used in the Nando’s sauce dispenser, where it measures portions, monitors usage and keeps track of cleaning requirements, allowing us to send automated prompts to the appropriate restaurant.
Komercialni direktor Neil Bracewell said: ‘It was great to be able to show delegates exactly how DexThermic operates and let them physically get to grips with a system that’s usually hidden away on a roof or in a plant room.
‘Years of investment, research and development have gone into the DexThermic system, and demonstrating it at the Siemens Transform event gave us a welcome opportunity to take stock and give ourselves a bit of a pat on the back and appreciate just how truly groundbreaking this technology really is.’
Tehnični direktor Gareth Evans said: ‘It took a lot of stamina and determination to take DexThermic from a brilliant idea to a finished product, and to see the physical result of all that hard work garnering lots of positive attention at such a prestigious show, was really, genuinely quite heartwarming.’
Exhibiting at the show prompted a number of requests for further information, and exciting potential for a much stronger partnership with Siemens going forward.
